Unilva Hot & Cold Wrist & Thumb Gel Wrap
Pain does not always feel the same.
When your wrist or thumb feels sore or swollen after repetitive use or activity, cold therapy helps numb the area and can reduce swelling and tenderness.
When the bigger problem is stiffness, tension or an ongoing achy feeling, warm therapy can help relax the area and ease stiffness.
That gives you two useful recovery options in one reusable wrap instead of relying on the same sensation every time your hand bothers you.
A traditional ice pack is flat. Your thumb and wrist are not.
This contoured format follows the hand around the thumb, palm side and wrist, helping keep the hot or cold surface where you actually want it.
You do not have to spend your entire session pressing a loose pack against your wrist with the other hand. And because the fingers remain uncovered, the wrap does not completely enclose your hand.
It turns temperature therapy from something you have to hold into something you can simply wear.
We offer two fits instead of relying on a single universal size.
Standard Fit
For narrower to average hands and wrists.
Roomier Fit
For broader hands and wrists, or when you prefer a less snug feel.
Between fits? Choose Roomier Fit.
The wrap should feel comfortably close, never painfully tight.
Either one.
The same wrap can be worn on your left or right hand, so there is no separate hand specific version to select.
For Cold Therapy
Place the wrap in a sealed bag and refrigerate for approximately 1 to 2 hours before use.
Slip it onto the hand and begin with a short session.
For Warm Therapy
Remove the wrap from any storage bag.
Microwave on low power in 10 second intervals, checking the temperature after each interval.
Never place it on the skin until the temperature feels comfortably warm.
When Your Hand Hurts, Simple Things Feel Harder
Gripping a mug, opening a jar, turning a key, typing or working with your hands all rely heavily on the thumb and wrist. Hot or cold therapy gives an overworked hand a simple way to calm discomfort and make recovery time feel more manageable.
Soothe pain after overuse
Calm swelling with cold
Ease stiffness with warmth
Two Temperatures, Two Different Jobs
Cold lowers the temperature of the area and reduces nerve activity, helping numb pain and calm swelling around sore tissues. Heat works differently, bringing more blood to the area while helping reduce stiffness and muscle tension.
That matters because recovery does not always feel the same. A hand that feels swollen and tender after activity may call for cold, while a stiff, achy hand may feel better with warmth. One reusable wrap lets you choose what feels appropriate in the moment.
Built Around the Hand , Not Around a Flat Pack
The value is in how the wrap combines reusable temperature therapy with a shape designed specifically around the areas that make wrist and thumb discomfort so inconvenient.
- Integrated solid gel core for reusable hot and cold sessions
- Contoured thumb, palm and wrist coverage for closer contact
- Stretch fabric with dotted grip for a secure, comfortable fit
Frequently asked questions.
Yes. Hot and cold therapy are commonly used as comfort measures for painful or stiff joints. Cold can be useful when pain comes with swelling, while warmth may feel more soothing when stiffness is the main problem.
Cold therapy is commonly used after activity or minor soft tissue injury because it can numb pain and help reduce swelling.
The wearable shape makes it especially practical when you want temperature contact around the thumb and wrist without holding a separate cold pack in position.
They address different sensations that can make recovery uncomfortable.
Cold can help with pain, tenderness and swelling. Heat can help with stiffness and tension and increases local blood flow.
That is why having both options in the same wrap is more useful than having a cold only product.
Choose cold when the hand feels newly sore, tender, overworked or swollen.
Choose warmth when stiffness, tension or a persistent achy feeling is the bigger issue.
You do not need to use both during the same session.
Start with approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Cold applications are generally kept short, and guidance commonly recommends staying below about 20 minutes to protect the skin and underlying tissues.
Remove it earlier if the temperature becomes uncomfortable or the area becomes excessively numb.
Yes.
The wrap can be used on the left or right hand, so you do not need to select a hand specific model.
That also means a single wrap can be used wherever you need it.
